Return visit to this amazing new London Indian restaurant. @aktarislam_ the chef behind Birmingham’s two Michelin star Indian restaurant Opheem has just opened his first London Indian restaurant. @Oudh1722 is a gorgeous Indian restaurant set in a Grade II listed Victorian townhouse in Borough. The menu features Awadhi cuisine from the Lucknow region of India and wow, these are unlike anything I’ve seen on any London Indian restaurant menu. Last time I tried some of the iconic dishes like the malai murgh whole chicken leg, tandoori chicken and lasooni jinga prawn kebab. Working my way through the whole menu now this time we tried the chicken seekh kebab, oxtail biryani and pumpkin korma. Along with that huge papadum basket and the lamb gilawat kebab with romali roti.
