@natalie_oneillll: Do you purge on azelaic acid? In this video, I explain what to expect if you start using azelaic acid and are already acne-prone. Annoyingly, for people who are acne-prone, you are always more likely to purge from something than you are not, simply because purging is the skin breaking out from small impurities that were already there and are going to become blemishes later on. However, it's important to remember that only some products cause a purge. Anything that breaks up dead skin cells or sebum comes with a purging risk. For example, exfoliants or retinoids. However, things that don't come with this risk are moisturisers, sunscreens, and cleansers that aren't exfoliating. I see a lot of misinformation about the skin needing to adapt to a new product, which comes with a purging period, but this is simply not true unless it's a retinol, exfoliant, or something like azelaic acid, which can barely be classed as that. #azelaicacid #skincare #glassskin

As a women's hormone educator 📚 I always recommend Eat Like a Woman Protocol written by Loren Green, it's a new perspective that gets to the root of what's been off for years instead of just managing symptoms and hoping for the best. Definitely recommending it to everyone.

I had a horrible purge on retinoid so the azelaic acid purge was nothing lol. Only took me 6-8 weeks to get the purge over and done with (clogged pores), whereas retinoid was like 4 months 🧍♀️and it was CYSTIC.

Just started on prescription azalaic acid & have sound the last week there is so much texture going on around the lower half of my face. Not as much papules/pustules all little bumps under the skin. HOWEVER my skin looks quite glowy when not looking at it super closely

Could you do a video on hot weather and skincare? Like putting on moisturizer before spf in 35° doesn’t seem to make sense and also not washing face in morning sucks

I recently started using 20% aezelic acid prescribed by the doctor and it gave me more acne but also made my skin very sore and painful so I stopped using it. Is this part of the purge? I was using a pea size amount and tried using it less but it continues to hurt so I’ve stopped using it. Should I try a lower dosage or just not use it at all?

If she’s like me and used the ordinary one then it might be the high silicone in it- I was great on the Anua, then switch to the ordinary and broke out just like that!

I started using it 20% and my skin tingles and is red now and really awful, only used it four times. Did use cicstoplast b5 balm from laroche posay as a moisturiser. Have I done this wrong? Should I stop?

Hi Natalie, what do you think about using a setting spray or fixing spray while using retinoids? I know many of them contain high amounts of alcohol

My GP advised to use Skinoren 20% twice a day. After the first night my cheeks were red then settled. Then I woke up to flakey cheeks but spots/bumps were a little better 😭 do I push through?

Hey I have a question, I found the 20% skinoren on TikTok but I thought you had to get a prescription? Don’t want to buy it if it’s fake does anyone know?
