Hold up do you. You're hypermobile. That's far more likely to be the actual cause of your pain - the tics are just making it worse I think.

idk if I have tourettes but I have very minor tics, that can still cause difficulty breathing and pain :(

Do you do physical therapy for the pain? I had a neck stim where I kept popping my neck as an ocd thing and ended up needing physical therapy to strengthen my neck muscles. not for the stim for the pain.

I agree 100% for me my HSD and tourettes do not mix well. add my POTS to it with the sudden movements.. being friends with gravity becomes more likely💀

I’ve had neck tics for awhile and they suck! Lately I got a tic where if I’m holding my phone I sometimes I will hit my head with it. I’ve also hit my head with a metal water bottle before, luckily that one is less reoccurring.

I have a neck tic/twitch that comes and goes. Worse when stressed, tired, in a pots flare. It makes my neck crack sometimes and as someone who has whiplash injury of 6 years in their neck and seeing a physio. It is fucking awful
