@pinkspidercos: doing a photoshoot and being completely stuck on how to pose and feeling awkward is a universal cosplay experience everyone hates, so i’ve gathered a few of my best tips for learning to pose 🕷️🩷 reference pics look at reference pictures of your character, are there any specific poses that they (or similar characters) do often? what poses come up a lot in fanart? 🕷️🩷 other cosplayers how do other cosplayers of the same character pose in their pictures? what about characters with similar vibes? 🕷️🩷 practice in the mirror it sounds stupid and you will feel stupid but the best way to know what poses you like is to be able to see yourself doing them. this is also helpful for practicing facial expressions !! it’ll help you know what looks good as well as make you more comfortable with actually doing the poses 🕷️🩷 props props help a TON with posing omfg, even just giving you something to do with your hands 🕷️🩷 relax, think about your posture relaxing is super important for looking good in pictures, even if you’re not confident. take a deep breath, roll your shoulders back and try not to slouch too much (unless the character does) 🕷️🩷 if all else fails, there’s always the magical girl reaching towards the camera/“let’s take ibuprofen together” pose. it never fails. - - 🔑 cosplay community cosplay tips for beginners cosplay advice for beginners cosplay positivity cosplay support 🐶 #goroucosplay #genshincosplay #genshinimpactcosplay #GenshinImpact #gorougenshin
