@beeyouink: Replying to @Multishifting Maven ──⃝─⃝⃝⃝⃝── #greenscreen Disclaimer!!!! Getting tattooed while you're pregnant is not recommended. Even though there isn't strong evidence that tattooing itself directly harms the baby, there also isn't enough research proving that it's safe. Because of that, most tattoo artists and healthcare providers recommend waiting until after pregnancy. A fresh tattoo is an open wound. Your body has to heal it, and during pregnancy your immune system and your body are already working incredibly hard. Healing can be slower, and if you develop an infection, that infection can become a risk to both you and your baby. There are also other things to consider, like allergic reactions to tattoo pigments, skin sensitivity, and the small risk of bloodborne infections if proper sterilization isn't followed. Even if the risk is low in a professional studio, it's still an unnecessary risk during pregnancy. #tattooartist #beeyouink #fyp #preganacy
