@coachcricxi_cricket: READ THIS CAPTION 👇🏻 One of the most frustrating things is having a hit and simply just not feeling great in the moment. Rhythm feels of, flow feels of and frustration tends to creep in fast! But how do we counter that to ensure we feel good at the end of the session? - Stage 1: Start off by focusing on the absolute basics. Watching the ball onto the bat. Getting your head into line. Letting the ball come to you (playing late). Playing straight lines. Making sure you have decent weight transfer. - Stage 2: As you get comfortable you start incorporating more rotational elements and working gaps, but still within a very tight and controlled fashion. The main goal is to start feeling like you are scoring. - Stage 3: Look to hit gaps hard and pick off boundaries when you can. Remember this is all within the controlled nets and you can set a field that you would like to bat to. - Stage 4: This is where you can start going for your “POWER” options. Make sure you know your strengths and play around them. The goal is to hit the ball clean and build confidence. Going through this simply 4 stage process you can turn a frustrating hit into one you feel satisfied with, all while developing and practicing a more consistent game plan for yourself. Hope this helped and feel free to ask questions in the comments! Thank you to @martinnzbt3 for the awesome throws 🙏🏻 #coachcricxi #cricketcoaching #crickettips #cricketlovers #cricket
