@learnnowai: You're pasting whole files into Claude Code. There's a shortcut. Most people copy the whole file, paste it into the message box, and watch half the chat turn into one wall of code. Then they edit the file, copy it, and paste it again just to keep it current. Skip all of that. In the message box, type @ and start typing the file path. Claude pulls the current file straight from your project. Point at one file with @src/app.ts, or grab a whole folder with @components/. Same move for docs: @README.md. Here's the part that actually matters. A paste is a snapshot from the second you hit copy. An @ reference reads the file as it exists right now, every time you send. Edit the file, and Claude sees the change on your next message. No stale code sitting in the chat pretending to be current. You're not sending text anymore. You're handing Claude an address and letting the tool go get the real thing. Same context, way less clutter, and it stays up to date on its own. Save this. The syntax is on slide 3. 📌 #claude #aitools #aitips #claudeai #claudecode #aifordevs
