@tave.la.rocque: day 29 of the @higherupwellness speak your mind challenge. men against women. left against right. your generation against the last. every group turned against every other one. and none of it is an accident. your anger is the product being sold. outrage is the most profitable emotion there is. agreement doesn't keep you scrolling. nuance doesn't keep you watching. but rage, us against them, keeps you glued for hours. so the algorithm feeds everyone their own outrage. it shows you the worst person on the other side, never the reasonable one, because the worst one makes you angry, and angry makes you stay. and it does this to every single side, equally. it's not one team against another. it's a machine that profits from all of us hating each other, quietly turning every human difference into a war. so understand who the real enemy actually is. it was never the other gender, the other party, the other generation. they're getting played by the exact same machine you are. the only thing that wins when you hate them is the system selling you the hate. and this matters, because when people stop talking, when they stop seeing each other as human, discourse doesn't just fade. violence moves in to take its place. it always has. respect and real conversation are the only things standing between us and that. so the next time your blood boils at "the other side," ask one question. who profits from me feeling this? and then refuse to give it to them. #philosophy #mindset #unity #humanity
