I just don't think airplane seats should recline at all unless your first class and the extra space is there for it. It's too cramped in the economy seating for people to be leaning back

It is prohibited to attach any items to the aircraft or its fittings—such as a clip or a foot hammock. Doing so can result in severe penalties. Furthermore, passengers can check the seating arrangements before booking; if the space is insufficient for their needs, they should book a higher class or even a different flight. Infringing upon the comfort that another passenger has paid for is unacceptable.

If they told a flight attendant they’d tell you to remove it, the person in front of you can recline back whenever they want as it’s their seat and their space.

Instead of all of this, it would be nice if airlines go back to more spacious planes and remove a few rows, and make the seat trays extend….so everyone has more space. People would pay a little more, if the flights were more comfortable and spacious.
