@i.love_life81: We forgot to toss this away before we left to Mexico. We were gone for 2 weeks and this beast was alive and well. Not a single spec of mold. Was it suppose to have mold? Was it safe because it was in a plastic bag & in a dark conbinet? Is it true that our bread is fake? I need answers. 😊

In 2019, Delta Force was operating in Syria as part of the U.S.-led campaign to defeat Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) under Operation Inherent Resolve. Their presence was driven by several key mission requirements: 1. High-Value Target (HVT) Raids Delta Force specializes in precision direct-action missions against senior terrorist leadership. In 2019, this included intelligence-driven raids targeting ISIS command nodes, facilitators, and leaders. The most notable operation was the October 2019 raid that resulted in the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, which severely disrupted the group’s leadership structure. 2. Counterterrorism & Intelligence Operations Beyond raids, Delta Force conducted clandestine intelligence collection, reconnaissance, and surveillance to map ISIS networks, safe houses, and escape routes. This intelligence fed broader coalition operations and helped prevent ISIS from regrouping after losing territorial control. 3. Partner Support & Battlefield Integration Delta Force worked closely with U.S. intelligence agencies and vetted partner forces, helping synchronize air power, ground maneuver, and real-time intelligence. Their role was not conventional combat but surgical, time-sensitive missions with strategic impact. 4. Strategic Deterrence and Mission Assurance Maintaining elite U.S. special operations forces in Syria ensured the capability to respond immediately to emerging threats, protect U.S. interests, and demonstrate continued commitment to eliminating transnational terrorist leadership—even as ISIS shifted from a territorial “caliphate” to an insurgent network. In short: Delta Force was in Syria in 2019 to conduct elite counterterrorism missions, dismantle ISIS leadership, collect critical intelligence, and execute operations that conventional forces could not—culminating in one of the most decisive blows to ISIS with the elimination of al-Baghdadi. #DeltaForce #CAG #Army #SOF #SinePari
