Giant Pumpkin Poptart!🎃 I got the normal sized ones the other day from the store and they were so good I was like danggg I want to recreate this but homemade and huge!! Ingredients: 2 boxes refrigerated puff pastry sheets Egg (+ a little water) 3/4 cups pumpkin puree 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1 tablespoon maple syrup Icing: Splash of milk splash of maple syrup 1 cup powdered sugar (Add a little more milk or powdered sugar to get your desired consistency) Directions: 1. On a floured surface, roll out thawed puff pastry dough (both sheets in one package). Pinch seams together and combine sheets to make once large rectangular sheet. Transfer to a sprayed baking pan. 2. Mix the egg with a little water and brush egg wash onto the outer 1” boarder of the rectangle. 3. Mix together pumpkin, brown sugar, vanilla, pumpkin spice, and maple syrup. Spread onto dough. Avoiding the outer 1”. 4. Repeat the step one with the second box of puff pastry sheets and place over filling layer. 5. Using a fork, press down around the outer 10” to seal in the filling. 6. Brush the top with egg wash. 7. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. (Mine got huge in the oven but the air leaves after it cools lol) 8. Let cool completely. 9. Mix together milk, maple syrup, powdered sugar. Pour over cooled pastry. 10. Add some fun fall sprinkles! 11.
