Well I’m not saying Cardi B is black, but you do know black is a race? She is of course mixed, but she may be black racially. Most Afro Latinos also don’t identify black most of the time. i just feel like if you aren’t african AMERICAN even if you’re afro Latina is just not the same . the way “negro” “negrita” is used in the latin world is different (in my opinion ) the n word here in the US is just different it comes from a place of degradation and a lot more history and more of a African american slang - in a latin country we don’t us the N word so we don’t share the same history behind it (IN. A WAY) yes theirs is tone of colorism and slavery history in latin countries but i don’t think THE N- word is OUR word to say in the english language at all because we aren’t african american (i might not have phrase this the best but do you guys know what i mean?)
