If you’re just starting a retinoid (adapalene) for the first time, would you recommend switching to a more gentile cleaner+moisturizer for retinoid nights (and alternating with a more complex pair on other nights), or stick to the gentile pair always?

You should also incorporate a toner into your routine and I heard you say that if you use a lot of products they won’t penetrate the skin so you’ll lose money and that’s just not true at all
