@gloria.home.of.skills: DIY Homemade Moringa & Green Tea Soap 🌿🍵 Makes: About 900 g (2 lb) of soap Ingredients Oils Olive Oil – 300 g Coconut Oil – 250 g Palm Oil – 200 g Shea Butter – 150 g Castor Oil – 100 g Lye Solution Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) – 140 g Frozen Green Tea (instead of plain water) – 320 g Additives Moringa Powder – 2 tbsp Green Tea Powder (Matcha) – 1 tbsp Vitamin E Oil – 1 tsp (optional) Green Tea Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil – 25–30 g (optional) Instructions Brew strong green tea and freeze it into ice cubes. Slowly add the NaOH to the frozen green tea while stirring until dissolved. Allow to cool to 35–40°C. Melt the coconut oil, palm oil, and shea butter. Add the olive oil and castor oil. Cool to 35–40°C. Pour the cooled lye solution into the oils and blend to light trace. Mix the moringa powder and green tea powder with a little oil, then stir into the soap batter. Add the fragrance oil and Vitamin E (optional), then mix well. Pour into a soap mold and tap gently to remove air bubbles. Cover and leave for 24–48 hours. Unmold, cut into bars, and cure for 4–6 weeks before use.
