Rejoice TALKS :
Dr. Abel Damina is correct. Jesus used vines which are climbing crops and when they fall on the ground, they will have no sunlight and they will no bear fruit. So the Gardner ‘lifts it up’ a process called STAKING so it can receive sunlight and bear fruit.

Context is everything in biblical translation. The surrounding text has to guide the meaning.

John 15:2 NIV [2] He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. Sir, I think you need to check other translations before making your explanation

No, I just read the Greek Lexical, the word is αἴρω (airō) which literally mean Take away, Remove also mean Lift Up, so what it mean there is debate, but the next statement favour remove or take away more than lift up. Because the next literal translation is "Every branch in Me not bearing fruit He removes; and every one bearing fruit He prunes, so that it may bear more fruit."

taketh away in Greek is "airo). it means to lift up, to carry, to remove and to bear. it depends on the context of the subject matter.

this man is correct ooo, if it means to throw away, look closely to the last statement in John 15:2, that it may bring forth more fruit. any tree you cut away can not bear anymore fruit. you are correct man of God
