My biggest issue is not how, but having time to do so! Lvl 1 trauma, magnet, has added SO much extra charting for nurses that we are barely able to fit in the minimum charting with the pt acuity, AND you are often penalized for staying late. I feel as though we are fully set up for failure.

Bullshit, you think the people in this hospital got that decision or was it taken away from them for profit, how about my Kowalski was her mother’s wishes granted or did she kill herself because of healthcare workers, and let’s be real you’re not doing this video to protect patients you doing this video to protect healthcare workers to make sure they put down just the right wording so they don’t get in trouble which most times they won’t anyway because they’re protected by law healthcare is a scam. I love your content but when I think too hard about it I feel so burnt out. Tonight I’m passing meds to 15 patients, if I go through this kinda process everytime one of them refuses a scheduled docusate I won’t finish med pass before 1am. Maybe the trick is identifying which meds are truly necessary and focusing on properly charting defensively on those refusals.
