Have you read between tides and thunder by Leena Kazak? Plot is plotting and the yearning drove me feral plus it’s a standalone. There is also a second book that’s the exact same story from the male POV for the people like me who couldn’t get enough of the first book

Amid Clouds and Bones is my favorite, but I had to read it 2x to figure out the MMC schemes. Not sure what that says about me, also skip the mating scene if you want but do not dnf the book because of it. Honestly I’ve enjoyed all Ella Field’s books!

From this list I’ve only read Throne of Fallen and Nocticadia. I didn’t like Throne of Fallen, Nocticadia was sooo good but that last 15% of the story threw me off a bit 🫤 So what fantasy standalone should I read next??
