@sharailjohnson: One year ago today, my life changed in a matter of seconds. Before the hit-and-run, I had already experienced a near head-on collision that same morning. That day left me with more than damage to my vehicle. It left me with fear, anxiety, unanswered questions, and a deep appreciation for the gift of simply being alive. A year later, I look at life differently. I don’t take waking up for granted. I don’t rush the people I love. I don’t overlook the small moments that once seemed ordinary. Tomorrow is never promised and life can change without warning. What someone else tried to drive away from became a reminder that God wasn’t finished with my story. I’m still here. Still healing. Still growing. Still choosing gratitude over bitterness. If there’s one thing this experience taught me it’s this.. don’t wait to tell people you love them, don’t postpone your dreams, and don’t waste your time carrying things that don’t matter. Life is too precious. Thank You, God, for protecting me then… and for carrying me every step since. 🙏🏾🤍
