@layeringkae: Y’all… TikTok got me AGAIN. 😂 I finally decided it was time to attempt my first wash-and-go because the girls make it look SO easy. So naturally, I ran to Target to get my hands on @The Doux Hair Care Block Party Anti-Humidity Curl Defining Gel… annnddd this is how it went. 😮‍💨 Spoiler alert: they definitely left out a few chapters. 🫠 I washed, deep conditioned, followed the directions, sat under the hooded dryer, stretched my roots… and somehow still ended up looking like I was wearing a curly helmet. 😭😂 The shrinkage?! Absolutely disrespectful. Attempt no.1 may not have gone as planned, but every wash day teaches me something new. I’m learning my hair one style at a time, and I’m not giving up that easily.
