Players make too much money now. Not that that’s a bad thing but it’s hard to have that same type of hunger and passion when you’re making $50M plus a season.

who is load managing? If every team has a star that's 30 stars and how many of them LOAD MANAGE? The league is making more money than ever, TV ratings are up, etc. Managing your injuries is a reason why stars are playing 18-20 years. The money being spent on players causes teams to protect the investment.

Basketball is no longer a game of five distinct positions that require different skill sets, and, different physical attributes specific to each of those five positions. A significant percentage of today’s players are extremely athletic power forwards, and games consist primarily of the three point shot, and far too much one-on-one play culminating at or near the rim. Consequently, it’s painful to watch and nowhere close to as exciting as it used to be.
