Depends on 3 factors: 1. What you have your investments invested in, stocks, bonds, etc, 2. The sequencing in how you perform withdrawals matters as it has huge tax implications, 3. If you have cash reserves or after tax brokerage to lean on during down years to augment our income needs

Don’t rely too much on this since it doesn’t consider inflation. Alternately, The “4% rule” says 4% in year one and then up that dollar amount by inflation each year. That would have something like a 95% chance of lasting 30 years when invested in a mix of stocks and bonds. If you don’t consider inflation, that $100k you start with is only worth 50-60k halfway through your retirement.
