Tell me about it. I have a Paxton SL 2200 on my car and I get that all the time I tried to correct people but I just finally gave up lol. Maybe the pool he was facing the front like the old Fox bodies that would be no question.

turbos still take power to run, think about going from a factory exhaust manifold to a set of headers, You gain power because exhaust flows out easier, a turbo does the opposite, it makes the engine work hard to push the exhaust out (to spin the turbo), does it drain as much power as a supercharger? no probably not, but it is not free power either
