I will forever not understand the reasoning behind the hate for Kinich’s VA. I understand hate towards VAs for scabbing is common but in this scenario it wasn’t his fault nor was he trying to purposefully take the others job. I fully support the strike the VAs went on, but to expect to come back to your job after how many months of not voice acting is something. Sure some will say “but older characters still have the same VA!” Which is correct if they didn’t quit. However when the strike happened, Natlan had just come out. Which means less chance of him keeping that job since Kinich had just released. It sucks and the industry is competitive as is, but the new VA isn’t bad. It’s unprofessional from the other VAs for how they treated him and now seeing a new VA being this way is really disheartening.

In all seriousness genshin needs to get it together when it comes to the Vas, it kinda unprofessional at this point. The strike was a mess, the aftermath a mess and to this day still a mess with still. They need better rules and policies they should have their va’s follow when discussing the game that includes being at least professional towards the other vas, regardless about the character they play. Vesna isn’t even out and a lot of people already say she had ruined the character similar to how paimon’s old Va ruined the character for so many people. If hoyo was smart they would recast her too before her formal release and make a statement

its her opinion on him. plus her saying she cant say on stream why may mean HE did something bad and she didnt wanna expose him. I may be biased bc yao guang and vesna are part if my favs (+ i love the va's streams). BUT if you look at cyuu and molly Zhang they may be friends but they insult each other aswell, just because she doesn't like a characters voice acting nor the character themselves doesnt mean she hates the VA. For an example I HATE the voice acting of chasca but LOVE the character, but that doesn't mean im bullying the voice actor, does it?
