So thankful I have my parents for help. However, I don’t have my husband to help bc he died in April. I’m also living an entirely different life than most 42 year olds with two 5 year old kids.

10000% as a mom who is currently living across the country for the summer with my 2 kids and is use to lots of help at home.. it’s been extremely humbling

💯 this! My parents live about 30 minutes away but they still work full time. They will watch for date nights every 4-6 weeks. But otherwise, it's all me while my husband works 6 days a week, every week. 😩

Agreed. I am a SAHM of 4 under 4. Prior to hiring help it was rough. I have a mother’s helper/nanny that we pay for. We have no proactive family at all. I give so much credit to the moms that do it alone. If I had no option I obvi would too but I do have the option to have help…. so I have it. Beyond Grateful!!!

Does no one’s siblings watch there kids? I watched my sisters kids she watched mine my sister in law would watch mine and vice versa why do the grandparents always gotta watch these kids.
