No, that’s not how it works, because those companies aren’t based in the EU. The best they could do is ban the VPN IP addresses but then the VPN companies have already said they’ll start mass circulating them if they do that.

they might ban the VPN companies, but they can't stop people from self hosting a vpn. and even if they ban self hosting a VPN, there are other legal alternatives (at the moment). and before someone tries to call me out on the alternatives, do your own research.

Why has everyone got this perception that government is god? It literally only has power through our cooperation and the cooperation of its enforcers to carry out the strong arming of the population and companies. Government has no special powers, laws are brought about by presumption of consent, this is all. The government has never had consent from the people!

Why don’t the companies just tell the EU to stop messing with people’s lives and then stop paying taxes in their countries. The EU and countries governments will soon back down when they lose their money. The backlash these companies will have from their own staff will ensure they will lose revenue and being unable to sell their product (VPN) in these countries will ensure the destruction of that company so none compliance is their only option. We and the companies need to make a stand!
