A few years ago we ordered Christmas cards and received the wrong order. The cards we received featured a single man holding his dog and said Merry Christmas from The Bucknell. Singular. It is so funny that we framed it and now The Bucknell is part of our yearly Christmas decor.

When my sister was pregnant with her first baby she ordered a mug for our mom that was supposed to have an ultrasound on it. What was unwrapped that mother’s day was a mug with 2 blonde twin boys on it. She uses it all the time. It’s been 6 years.

i was next in line for the waffle machine at a hotel breakfast when the kid in front of me only made a quarter waffle and put it on his plate and said “perfect! a little waffle just for me! 😋😊” this was over 10 years ago and is still a family favorite

Once in an airport my husband and I heard a little kid just say "shirt" over and over again to their parent until the parent fixed whatever the problem was. We still say shirt, shirt, shirt for any minor inconvenience and never elaborate 😂 that kid is probably out of college now and will never know we quote him daily.

at an indiana University football game in like 2012-2015 there was a game with a student on the screen and they said, "are you ready" and the kid goes "I've never been ready". we quote that anytime someone asks if we're ready. lol

One time my sister and I went to a hotel that had a breakfast and dinner buffet. My sister said “I know the dinner buffet is $18.99 but how much is breakfast” the guy said “it could be more, it could be less or it could even be the same price” and we say it all the time now. My friend and I were at this fancy hotel she booked on her points in Athens. It had a butler. We asked how long it would take to walk somewhere. He said “about 20 minutes but I can do it in 10”. I think he meant because we’d be looking around not rushing but we quote him all the time. “It’s 15 minutes away… but I can do it in 5” every time there’s a timeframe mentioned
