We use people's past experiences to judge compability in other areas than dating, don't see a problem to bringing it to dating. I would also say that it's not always about insecurity but own personal preference. And I do agree with the fact that you shouldn't shame women for it, if it's not your preference just don't date her.

ngl this might be the first time i disagree with a take of yours bro. i think intimacy loses its worth/value the more you experience it with more people. being that vulnerable with someone begins to lose meaning if it’s done casually and i think there’s some real truth/reasoning behind wanting a partner who still holds intimacy as something that is vulnerable and to be shared only with those who you deeply trust love. ofc people can have their preferences but i don’t think it’s necessarily insecure to desire someone who also keeps their close moments few and far between
