It’s okay, really. It’s a lot sadder for us than them. They’re very adaptable! I have two blind dogs and they still get zoomies and are very independent 💕

Idk if this will be at all helpful, but I have a blind dog and let me tell you, he’s more independent than my seeing dog. It takes a couple of changes, like furniture staying the same, or creating really obvious soft spaces for them to cuddle up on, but blind dogs can lead really really really beautiful lives, especially when they’re as freaking adorable as yours!

Baxter has been blind 4 years and if I don't tell people they wouldn't guess. it truly is harder on us than it is on them. Speak to your pup as much as possible and use new words. we like careful, danger, up step, down step, door open and door closed to name a few. You've both got this!
