I love Louis but the fandom either babies him or villainized him and it’s so exhausting. He is a vampire and just as messed up as the rest he’s just better at acting than the others at times. None of these characters are beacons of pure good morals.

Honestly, I only got slightly annoyed with Regina when she pushed back at Lestat. And not because she was wrong, but because I was scared for her. He & Louis are two completely different beasts and calling up Claudia’s ghost is not a game to play with Lestat.

The only valid reason for saying she should be more demure is SO SHE LIVES. Because Louis will crash and destroy her just like he did Claudia and others 😭 I love Louis fr but he doesnt have the self reflection and boundaries required for this situation. I keep having to pause every time Louis and Regina are on screen together after setting the terms of the deal because I keep getting IMMEDIATE second hand embarrassment for Louis. Like before I was having a great time with the almost psychological thriller of Louis being at the dinner with her! It was spooky and made my skin crawl! ... And then he agreed to pay her $500,000 (I think that was the number?) to hear her speak like Claudia???? AFTER admitting to googling her and seeing her O.F. and criminal record? So he KNEW there was a chance she'd take the bait?? NAWWWWW WE GOTTA GO HOME. LEAVE REGINA OUT OF THIS MESS.

Honestly vampire bit aside, imagine if someone told you that they’d give you *life-changing* amounts of money if you’d just come see him and chat with him because you remind him of his late daughter. To the point you don’t *need* a job, you just have one for when things get weird. They’re both taking advantage of each other to suit their own needs, his emotional and hers financial. He seems fully aware of himself and willing to pay, I might have my reserves but I’d probably do it too

I honestly like Regina, she probably even tried to get her friend to be paid as well by playing Madeleine, even though it didn't work in the end. I think Lestat was unfair to her, she needed the money and Louis was more than ready to pay her. He did needed to end it, but I think he put too much responsibility on her when Louis admittedly stalked her in the first place.

I knew they were gonna believe lestat "she swindle/hurting louis" cause they don't relize lestat is a selfish trick too and have favoritism to louis, like of course he gonna claim she "hurting louis" 💀 they were saying before the ep tgat lestat was gonna be triggered by louis stalking reigena and remember magnus, as if lestat wasn't stalking louis😭😭, like people genuinely forget lestat is a bad man too and take his words as the Bible...
