I switched from scale once a week to inbody once a month. Much better system for me. Can see muscle and fat gain/loss trends. Eat and move consistently and adjust monthly if needed.

Yes! I don’t find the scales so triggering these days but I nearly didn’t bother weighing this morning because I knew it was going to spike after my big uphill walk yesterday afternoon, my legs were aching when I went to bed and heavy this morning plus I’m in luteal phase - it only went up less than half a pound so way less than I expected.

I weigh Monday through Friday before I get ready for work. I take a break from looking at those numbers on the weekend without changing what I do nutritionally.

This is super helpful. I just found you but I’m about a month in of being super consistent. I’m down 9 lbs but the scale hasn’t moved in 2 weeks and I’m only weighing once per week. Strength training 5x per week using Ladder. Tracking food and at a deficit. What do you think of the scales that show other metrics like Renpho?

The clothes suggestion is a fantastic one to capture how your body can shift weight even if the scale doesn't move a ton. always found that helpful when I move down a size shirt or pants.
