TC :
As a fellow woman, my heart breaks for Elizabeth and everyone affected by this tragedy.
Please don't be too quick to judge her. In my eyes, she is also a victim. Just imagining the years of abuse she may have endured, and the pain of giving birth to each of those children, is enough to send chills down my spine.
Many people ask, "Why didn't she leave?" Perhaps because most of us have never experienced what it feels like to live in a prison disguised as life. Abandoned by her own parents during a teenage pregnancy, at the very time she needed love, guidance, and protection. Feeling powerless, unwanted, and trapped under years of manipulation and emotional control can slowly destroy a person's ability to think, choose, and even survive.
It is easy to comment from the outside. It is easy to be angry. But before we judge, let us also see her through the lens of humanity. None of us chooses the life we are born into, and no one asks to live through a nightmare like that.
Whatever the final outcome of this case may be, I sincerely pray that Elizabeth and her children are finally given the chance to heal and live a better life. At the very least, this case being exposed may have become the beginning of her freedom from the hell she had been living in. 🙏
