For trans folks in hostile states that no longer allow gender marker changes on drivers licenses (hi, Texas 👋), that matters more than ever. I’m not a lawyer, but my advice: if you can, renew now. Even if they deny you, you may then fall under the injunction categories and be able to resubmit.
