Dating apps sux. My last experience gained an aggressive stalker who used multiple accounts to harrass and say some really gross, threatening things. I just gave up.

My experience has been largely the same, so I've adopted a "3 questions" philosophy: if I ask someone 3 questions and they don't ask a single one back, I move on.

I don’t think that skillset is gone, those guys who are low effort in conversation are simply not interested, I assume…. and that’s probably 9 out of 10 guys. So then I move onto the next one and once in a while you have a genuine click.

It is an interview bc... everybody's scared to reveal themselves for fear of rejection..in their brains image of picture perfect...accomplishment...in their minds...the "interviewer" is the only decision maker for this job they want...all the while "passing out"...more applications...not understanding the "take" part of the "give"... to get? to have? to grow into? They really want a boyfriend that can be put on a shelf and paraded around...forgetting that life has a structural balance not unlike a buffet of pick and choose components that will fit & fix their mental state of emotions? know this was all over the map but that's the scatter brain image fixated in their minds to get "the" boyfriend vs life PARTNER.
