My assumption is that he may not have seen Kayla as someone he wanted to marry long term. Since she was an influencer, he might have also considered the financial risks if the marriage didn’t work out. With Taylor, the situation is different. She’s a billionaire in her own right, and he’s a millionaire, so there may be less concern about money. He also seems more willing to go the extra mile because he knows she can match or even exceed what he brings to the relationship. If things were ever to end, they would both likely leave with what they came into the marriage with. At the end of the day, though, only Travis truly knows why he never took that next step with Kayla. And honestly, that’s okay. Sometimes people are only meant to be in each other’s lives for a season. They help each other grow, learn valuable lessons, or discover things about themselves that make them better people or inspire them to do better. If the relationship doesn’t work out and they move on, it doesn’t necessarily mean anyone failed. It may simply mean the person they eventually settle down with is the one they were truly meant to be with.
