Nothing worse than a stalking neighbor. I’ve put up a fence, planted tall sunflowers and hung blinds on my porch. He finally died last Oct and this summer has been amazing enjoying my yard without spy in the sky across the street

This is more common than it should be, mine mapped my house & located my room. He would watch through a gap in the curtain asleep or not & because I finally got fed up hearing noises outside, my mum got a camera, the time he came (captured in picture) I was fast asleep + he visited many times through night. He was arrested 24 hours later after he failed to skip cities. My freeze response prevented me from doing anything in the moment. The officer viewing the footage noticed his hand was down there, I had also heard adult film sound playing through the glass. I got PTSD from it, my mum recognised him in the footage & went over to show his dad who ended up passing from an stress-induced heart attack. I was 16, he had a daughter my age + he was late 30s. He was not allowed back in the city. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!

All jokes aside I recommend investing in multiple self defense items. Pepper spray in multiple locations that only you know where it is. One in your purse, another in your car, bathroom, ect. Have a bat in your room, have decorations that are light and easy to throw in easy to reach and access areas of your home. Example, a random vase with fake flowers or a lamp that's easy to carry. Dollar tree has broom sticks you can buy and they're pretty solid as well as pocket knifes. There's also these security sticks you can get on Amazon to make it hard for someone to break down the door. The only way they'd get in is if they're the fire department (they have tools they use to get in so don't worry of a fire happens.) Keep documenting and watching his patterns, if you have the privilege to move please do. Don't use your real name on ANY social media platforms. Make it hard for anyone to find you or deactivate any social media if it reaches a boiling point.
