To the decision defenders - this hasn’t happened with ANY other red card, in history. Bad calls are part of the game. Correcting one bad call, only for the US, in the US, with this administration, is objectively sus. That’s the point. Everyone saying it isn’t a red so it’s fine haven’t realised that fifa haven’t rescinded it they have suspended it, so they aren’t saying it isn’t a red there saying he doesn’t have to serve it yet for no reason

I’m genuinely confused by this stance. I’m pretty sure they’re not allowed to remove the red card itself, but they can suspend the suspension, so this is their way around it. If you don’t think it should be a red, this isn’t a crazy decision
