Wrong. GHK-Cu is hydrophilic (prefers water, poor affinity for skin’s oily outer layer). A lipid-rich balm base (e.g., grass-fed tallow mirroring human sebum, jojoba, olive oil, or honey) helps “solubilize” or partition it better across the stratum corneum’s lipid matrix. Similar tallow-honey GHK-Cu balms are popular for this reason—they nourish while delivering. As long as the base of the topical you’re using is lipid rich you’re good.
