My ex is a covert narcissist and an expert at manipulation, rage baiting, passive-aggressive behavior and lying. This form is so hard to identify and understand. Took me 10 yrs to figure it out and my daughter was weaponized against after separating. They do so much damage to their kids.

Their cognitive dissonance is WILD. They're literally living in their own separate reality where they're the main character and only their comfort matters. I believe mine was a narcopath. He was too demonic for simply narcissist. Sorry, I don't mean to minimize but he was full blown narcissist and psychopath. He loved( fully enjoyed) causing pain/harm. He got extreme enjoyment from bleeding, near killing me. No fighting/arguing, it was sudden, predatory, planned at times. Attorneys protected his reputation of being this great friendly guy.🙄
