@jackvalor007: Yes, there are other majors that can lead to high-paying careers, especially in healthcare and law. My issue is that they typically require significantly more than four years of school and can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, making the opportunity cost much higher. #collegeadvicee #collegemajors #businessstudent #engineeringstudent #greenscreensticker
I honestly started getting scared that my finance Degree was going to shit. I was wrong! Just landed my first job post grad with a base salary of $115k in Dallas, Tx. I also have no college debt. Plus cost of living in Dallas is pretty low compared to other cities. Overall I’m pretty happy!

stock market returned 4000% the past 40 years. The ROI with a degree might be only around 3-4% per year.

You see that fine print that says based on a 40 year career. That’s important. What you’re describing is a 7.6% annual return. That’s on average, so keep in mind where you fall in the distribution.

I’m unsure because I’m not skilled. Business with concentration in marketing caught my eye or entrepreneurship or jsut going all in on communications. People said I’d be screwed if I did communications but I’m good at solely being receptive and empathetic and idk where I can really use that skillset.
