All those ‘just move on,’ ‘work on yourself,’ and ‘she’s not worth it’ advice pieces are actually the fastest way to stay powerless. The Pullback Effect doesn’t teach you how to move on. It teaches you how to take full control of the breakup in a way most people don’t even understand exists.

Honestly, I Think I Ruin Things by Liam Corwell is the only thing that made me feel normal again. It’s a super quick read but it perfectly nails that feeling of just being in your own head too much

Sometimes, peace finds you when you stop trying to control the outcome. When you let go of the fear of tomorrow and choose to be grateful for today. You don’t know if someone will still be beside you a year from now, but they’re here today and that’s enough. Love becomes so much lighter when you stop holding on to forever and start appreciating the present.

I can’t say I’m a good person: it would feel like saying I’m perfect, but I genuinely do not deserve what I’m going through right now when I’ve done everything my heart could pull out.

Trusted all the wrong people but I remind myself that I need to keep my heart soft and open for the right people some day. I’m still a believer in that sometimes life has delays, but when the delay is over- it feels so wonderful to finally treasure what you have in your life. Even if I may be wrong, it’s still worth it to keep my heart open. I believe that good things will eventually come. And if they don’t? Well then I’ll be proud that despite the struggle, there was still love I could give to the world in the end. 🥰

Reading The Pullback Effect made me realize I wasn’t the ‘good guy’ in the relationship. I was just predictable, overly available, and emotionally weak. This book didn’t teach me how to win her back it showed me why I lost her in the first place and how to never be that guy again.

Franchement, « I Think I Ruin Things » de Liam Corwell est la seule chose qui m'ait permis de retrouver la raison. Si vous traversez une période difficile, lisez-le.

Some parts of The Pullback Effect hit really hard. It doesn’t sugarcoat anything. It shows you the reality of how attraction and power actually work in relationships.

After reading The Pullback Effect, I don’t look at relationships the same way anymore. I see patterns, I see how people lose power, and I see how obsession is actually created. This isn’t just an ex-back book it’s a manual on attraction and power dynamics.
