Happened in My 2016 Honda pilot. Honda told me I needed to replace the entire camera system, starting cost $1500! I learned to drive when all these features didn’t exist, so, I’ll keep my money!

yes, happened to me. took my car to the dealer they said it just needed a calibration. that was going to cost me. 350. never went back. till this day it has not trigger the Christmas dash lights.

I have a 2020 and the first month I bought it , it happened to me & the “top” dog worked on it and couldn’t figure it out they changed the battery and did everything & it disappeared but it comes on from time to time 🤷🏽♀️

I mean, yeah? What else would you expect? Honda sensing is primarily data from the camera supplemented by the front radar. The camera does the lane centering. The radar does collision avoidance mitigation and adaptive cruise control. Of course if the camera fails all those systems will fail with it.

I just got a 2020 and where the camera is located is stupid in snow states. I was driven to see my son constantly had to pull over so my safety features would work.

Holy Crap this happened to my 2020 Passport back in November 2025. I took it to the dealership and it was replaced for free under a mystery warranty they said my car had. FYI…I had no warranty on my car.
