This debut had me completely hooked from start to finish. 🔥 I listened to the audiobook on Spotify, and the audio killed. 🎧🔥 It pulled me in from the very first chapter and made it impossible to stop listening. I really loved the dual timeline, and I appreciated that the author didn’t jump into the past right away. Some books switch back and forth too soon, but this one let the present-day story build first, which made the flashbacks hit even harder. 👏 I also loved all the family dynamics. Every relationship felt layered and believable, and it gave the mystery so much more depth. ❤️‍🩹 I figured out who the killer was about three-quarters of the way through, and I was right! 😅 But honestly, that didn’t take away from the story at all. The tension stayed high alllll the way to the end, and I was still completely hooked to see how everything would play out. 🙌 And THE ENDING!!!! 🤯🤯🤯 That last POV… WOW. I never saw that coming, and it was the absolute perfect way to end the story. 👏 Rose was such a great main character. I loved how determined she was to fight for her brother, no matter what. She wasn’t perfect, she made mistakes, and that made her feel even more real. ❤️ This book has everything I want in a thriller: 🔪 Family secrets 🕰️ Dual timelines 😳 So many suspects 💥 Twists 📖 Fast pacing 🎧 An audiobook that killed 😱 An ending that will leave you speechless If you’re looking for a twisty, fast-paced domestic thriller that’ll have you saying “just one more chapter” until you’ve finished the whole book… this is it. 🙌📚💙
