That’s why being a SAHM is highly underrated and undervalued. We do the work of 5 people with zero “pay” and zero vacation days. Caring for children is literally a fortune because they are so valuable. I don’t understand why people are looking for the cheapest daycare.

Me and my husband work opposite shifts for this reason. Daycare is expensive. Does it suck to work opposite shift yes of course but we do what we gotta do to survive and get through till the kids are in public school.
