Should they be shot from helicopters, no. Should they instead be rounded up and sold to people who can give them homes, yes as many as possible. Should some of them be humanely culled, YES. The Mustangs in the united states and the brumbies in Australia are wildly invasive and are damaging their native ecosystems. It sucks, but it the same thing as outdoor cats and other invasive species. They are just that, invasive. They are not native to these areas and the environment is worse off because of it.

Not that I agree with the culling at all, but the brumbies should still be collected and captured and given a chance to live a domesticated life with someone like a regular horse, as the US does with the mustangs and donkeys they round up and adopt out. Too many can become overpopulated and they will starve themselves or worse if the numbers aren’t controlled

As sad as it is to see it truly is the best for the ecosystem and the other animals that live there. Putting one animal above another just because it’s cute or domestic is wrong and also why we have so many issues with domestic animals becoming invasive and not being properly removed. There will be plenty of wild horses still alive in areas that can sustain them properly

I’ll never understand “over populated” animals. This is their home. Could we maybe move them elsewhere? Why must we kill everything we don’t understand or can’t control? We are not meant to control animals

I do support culling. unfortunately the land is not built to handle the population size. Should they be shot down from helicopters, absolutely not. Every animal deserves a humane end when done by human hands.
