I'm sharing this because I know how heartbreaking it is to suddenly lose years of memories, photos, and conversations. If you're going through the same thing, I hope my experience gives you hope. I have three Facebook accounts that I switch between on the same device: • My personal account (since 2009) • My son's account, which I monitor for school • My secondary account that I use to manage a Facebook page On July 1, I switched from my secondary account back to my personal account. The moment I switched back, Facebook suddenly suspended my main account. I was given 180 days to appeal, so I immediately submitted one. The only verification Facebook asked me to do was a video selfie. I had to move my head left, right, up, and down. I wasn't asked to upload a government ID. Less than a minute after submitting the appeal... My account was permanently disabled. I was devastated. Then it got even worse. My son's account and my secondary account also became permanently disabled after being logged into on the same device. I completely panicked. I started researching everything I could. I honestly don't know which step restored my account because I tried several things at the same time, but these are all the steps I took: ✅ I subscribed to Meta Verified on Instagram (I was lucky to get a free one-month offer). Thankfully, my Instagram account wasn't affected. ✅ I contacted Meta Verified support through Instagram. Unfortunately, they told me the decision had already been finalized. ✅ I emailed appeals@fb.com, disabled@fb.com, and support@facebook.com. The APPEALS email address was actually suggested by Meta AI. While the other email addresses I mentioned were only found here on Tiktok. In my email, I included: • My profile URL • The name on my account • My email address • My phone number • A government-issued ID (I'll show my email format in the photos.) After about three days, I created a new Facebook account and also subscribed to the free Meta Verified trial so I could contact support from Facebook. Since the offer was free, I chose the highest tier thay have which is Meta Verified Max. Unfortunately, it took so long to get connected to an agent that while I was away, several support representatives had already replied and automatically closed my tickets. When I tried again, I had already reached my daily support limit. At one point, my secondary account unexpectedly gave me another chance to appeal. Unlike the first appeal, this time Facebook asked for my government ID and phone number, so I submitted both. I also chatted with Meta AI through the business ad help page, explained everything, and provided the same information I had already submitted. A few minutes later... My personal account came back. My son's account came back. My secondary account came back. I honestly can't tell you which step made the difference. It could have been the second appeal, the email, Meta Verified, or an internal review that finally reached the right team. I'm not saying these steps will work for everyone. I'm simply sharing everything I personally did in case it helps someone who's feeling as lost as I was. ❤️ My biggest advice: Don't panic. Exhaust every official Meta option available to you. AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE THE FREE ONES. Back up your Facebook data as soon as you regain access. Export data which you can find on your settings. ‼️‼️‼️‼️Never pay someone claiming they can recover your account.‼️‼️‼️‼️ Don't give up after the first rejection. I truly hope this helps someone.
