The problem with this analysis of marx works is that its completely sided and dogmatic. Marx also did not say that the divisions of labour would lead to world revolution but lead to class consciousness and maybe a revolution, but also could have a contrary effect in creating a inert social class (which is exactlywhat we are seeing in china), It also ignores the fact that the material condition of the average worker in china is unimaginable better than the condition of a worker in the late industrial revolution, and that for many places, like in china, we are not living 19th century misery unchanged.

This Clip-Essay is deeply confused and seems like you just read a second hand summery of Marx and not Das Kapital itself. Industrial rise and a socialist transition are in no way in contradiction to marx. Nor is a worker who smiles once.

Intersubjectivity🎄 :
Marx wrote of the internal contradictions of capitalism that lead into to cycles of crises and its instability and unsustainability for many reasons. Marx’s alienation isn’t an eventual process culminating in detachment of the worker from the products of their labour, it is the base condition of the capitalist wage relation. To then present the reductive deterministic caricature of Marxism or socialism generally while overinterpreting a photo to attribute pride in their work to the factory worker stinks of shallow hackery, letting your ideological commitments muddy your analysis.

I just hope one day China can use their control of the global markets against capitalism to destroy the whole system worldwide

Let’s hope China doesn’t turn towards revisionism rather than socialism. If they do, there probably we need to be a new revolution to turn China back
