I’ve never watched marvel or really any non MHA superhero stuff except Thor till recently and I watched captain America and my brain just kept going but MHA did that better but deku was cooler

Two superhero media I like as a big mha fan: Invincible and Heroes. Invincible is AMAZING and still coming out. Worth trying the first episode, seriously!!! It was a comic by Robert Kirkland adapted to cartoon. Heroes is pretty interesting but tbh I think they stopped making the show on a cliffhanger. It’s about different people who develop powers and how their lives interlap in crazy ways. My brother was named after a character in it: Sylar XD

I think marvel just kinda sucks. Like I love spiderman but I need more than one fantastic character to really enjoy something. DC is generally better but suffers from trying to copy some marvel aspects. That’s probably why I enjoy anime more, because while there is clear influence it’s not trying to copy outright.

specifically atom eve in invincible😭 she could be so OP. when fighting someone she could use her powers like best jeanist and just tie them up with their own clothes. she also could straight up have the abilities of shouto, momo, bakugo, shigaraki, overhaul (minus the effects on people) and also all the bending abilities from atla. it really just goes to show how powerful she could be if they didn’t nerf her for the show or that she learns how to use her powers properly

Nothing else can compare honestly, after finishing MHA and reading through Hellboy and The Maxx, it just makes me realize how much I hate the standard super hero formula, it's not hard to be different either 😭
