red cards are for INTENTIONAL and purposeful things that happen. he was mid air and it was a mistake. at the very least it should've been a yellow card. messi did the same thing last game intentionally and he didn't get called for anything!!!!

This is actually in FIFA rules and has been done manyyyy times, you are allowed to ask for the carding to be reviewed. It was, and it gotten reversed, it’s just using the rules 😭

the red card violated VAR. fifa made themselves look bad by not explaining that off jump when they announced the red card being “revoked” which isn’t really what happened, balo is still sanctioned and it being watched very closely to see if he commits any similar penalties. if anything, this puts a big target in his back for the other team to attempt to set him up and get him out of matches for a long time.

The VAR stopped the game not the ref on the field that is against the rules because of the ref on the field let them play on so the VAR shouldn’t have stopped the game, but the card should have been a yellow because it was a foul but it shouldn’t have been red cause he didn’t mean too so it was unfair, also I doubt trump had anything to do with it because if balo does another foul like that or of that nature he has a one year ban so I feel like if trump had something to do with it the red would have just been lifted,
