i was baptized in C.O.P i played the 🥁 🎹 🎸 for years but they never appreciated me....i left to play just one day at a friend's church and the pastor gifted me ghs500 then i was in serious need of money because my rent was due....the church i loved so much did nothing to help me.....it took a different church to help me out of my situation,then i left C.O.P. and I don't regret leaving.

Instrumentalists invest in time, money, bundles, trainings, energy, stress and years which require determination and perseverance in learning such instruments. They need to be paid or appreciated often to motivate them. Many are discourage because of no caring about them.

@Mozart Transport n Logistics: COP instrumentalist played since 2015 when scholarship came I wasn’t part of the enlisted members my results too is very good and i applied too they didn’t pick me . I’m in Pentecost University final year rn I funded my college fees till now that I’m about to complete no support . I’ve lost interest in this instrument thing . When passion doesn’t pay surviving must rn I’m doing something else coz if I do this instrument full time for the church I’ll stay hungry bro .

The question is, do he want to be paid or he wants to be appreciated? Make your intentions known before you start playing for a church or an institution. If you tell them and they want to pay then you stay but if not then you take your person decision to either stay or play.
