So I’ve always wanted to be married before I had a kid , this year , I ended up having a kid without being married. My child’s father wants marriage , but like Nia said, I’m no longer in the rush for it . Perception changes things for people and that’s okay .

I guess when I envision being a mother I envision my child having both parents so if marriage isn’t a priority wouldn’t that be willingly putting your child in a position to grow up without both parents?

I get what she’s saying. She wanted kids. If the relationship worked it did, If it didn’t cool. But she’s choosing motherhood first and always. So I respect it. She’s basically not scared to walk away from relationships.
